Meet You Under the Mirror Ball

Happy L’s Discotheque is where a 1970s disco ball meets a night you’ll only half-remember. On Patong Road, the bass is strong, the pours are stronger, and the mirror ball has seen things.

The room fills with backpackers who promised themselves just one, off-duty bar staff, and tourists who somehow ended up doing the hustle. Come ready to dance, laugh too loudly, and let your future self sort out the details.

    Cue the Chaos: Pool Tournament

    Bracket-style 8-ball tournament, cash prize for the winner, free shot for anyone who scratches on the 8. Loser buys the next round for their table.

  • Tuesdays

    Disco Bingo

    Bingo, but the caller's had a few and the prizes are questionable. Free drink for every "Happy L's" you get in a line.

  • Wednesdays

    Wing Night & Wet T-Shirt Wednesdays

    All-you-can-eat Walk of Shame Wings, plus a wet t-shirt contest for anyone brave enough to sign up. Judged by crowd noise, not fairness.

  • Thursdays

    Karaoke Meltdown

    Sing your heart out or embarrass yourself trying — either way, drinks are cheaper the worse you sound. Staff's discretion, and they will be harsh.

  • Fridays

    Disco Inferno Dance-Off

    Live DJ, disco ball at full spin, and a dance-off with a trophy nobody asked for. Costumes encouraged, dignity optional.

  • Saturdays

    Foam Party & Body Shots

    The dance floor turns into a foam pit after 11pm. Body shot bar opens alongside it — sign a waiver, grab a friend, and let the night happen.

  • Sundays

    Sunday Funday Strip Pool

    Pool tournament with a twist: lose a game, lose a layer. Keep your rack tight and your inhibitions looser.

  • Last Friday of the month

    Happy L's After Dark

    Our monthly no-cameras, no-judgment late-night special: burlesque performances, a raunchier drink menu, and a lineup we can't put in writing. 18+ only, ID required at the door.
